About HeyMandarin Kids Online Class

HeyMandarin is offering exciting online Mandarin classes for kids over 5 years old. Our highly qualified teachers will ensure your children will have fun and learn Mandarin including speaking, reading, and writing. Our students love our classes. Besides, our teachers all hold Mandarin proficiency certificates, your kids will learn correct Mandarin without any incorrect dialect.

What students will learn?

In this course, participants will learn how to read and write the commonly used Chinese radicals which still form the basis of modern Chinese writing. By mastering these radicals, students will learn other ideographs more easily and how to use a Chinese/English dictionary more quickly. Students will also learn to converse in everyday situations.

Our Curriculum

YCT 1 on 1 Program

Suitable: 5 - 9 years old

Youth Chinese Test (YCT) | 中小学生汉语水平考试 is an international standardised Chinese language test, which is directed at examining non-native primary and secondary school students' ability to apply Chinese language in their studies and daily lives.

HSK 1 on 1 Program

Suitable: 9 - 18 years old

The HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) is an international standardised test to assess the Chinese-language proficiency of non-native speakers (foreigners, Chinese people living overseas and Chinese national minorities). It is aimed primarily at adult Chinese learners.

Read and write Chinese characters 读写汉字

Suitable: 4 - 9 years old

Learn Chinese characters with innovative Chinese-english dictionary, stroke order animations, online Chinese lessons and character writing worksheets.

Singapore Program

Suitable: 6 - 12 years old

Created for Singapore students from Primary 1A Chinese Textbook. Designed specifically for K1/K2 learners.

Aligned to the 欢乐伙伴 syllabus set by the Singapore Ministry of Education.
